FAQs

Government Contracts & Procurement

ICP Medical has contracts with the Department of Defense (DAPA), Veteran’s Administration and Indian Health Services (FSS, GSA and MSPV)

In 1990’s ICP Medical introduced a breathable SMS material gown with an easy to don, over the head design. This was followed by customizable PPE Organizers which allow hospital staff to put the right PPE in the right place for clinicians.

The Rapid Refresh Privacy Curtain system was developed in 2010 after a request from an infection preventionist. She was concerned about the need to clean hospital privacy curtains on a routine basis. She noticed that hospital curtains were not changed frequently due to the inconvenience and difficulty of changing curtains.  She asked ICP Medical if we could develop a curtain that could be changed out in seconds which would improve curtain-change compliance.  ICP Medical revolutionized the hospital privacy curtain market by creating a quick-change disposable curtain system.

Government contracts provide veterans facilities with products made in the USA and US Allies at negotiated rates to ensure the government receives reasonable pricing for goods and services.

Privacy Curtain Systems (Rapid Refresh)

ICP Medical’s disposable, reusable and extend-use curtains are available on government agreements.

The rod set adapters have a quick-change mechanism that releases the curtains with a twist of key and allows for a quick installation of a new curtain without the need for a ladder.

JCAHO requires healthcare facilities to have a protocol for curtain changes. The Date Label and Timestrip® are easy methods to track curtain changes to document compliance. The date label provides accurate documentation of when a curtain was last changed while a quick glance at the TimeStrip® Indicator will determine if a curtain needs to be changed.  Learn more on our Rapid-Refresh Disposable Privacy Curtains page.
